It's a lovely unit, but while it physically fits a record, you won't be able to get them in or out if stored vertically, since the doors take up the top 3cm-ish of each pigeon hole.
Nice finish overall. Take care that the door rollers have been screwed in properly, or the screw heads might catch and damage the doors, like mine.
